302 to 351
#4
Well, one is the fact that '96's have a totally different computer system, OBD2, that wouldn't lend itself to moving into the '94.
The 302 has a different computer program than the 351 so it won't run the 351 if you kept all the 302 electricals.
No such animal as an AODE in a F-150 so look to see on the door jam sticker if you have a trans code E for the E4OD, or U for the 4R70w. If you have the E4OD, grab a '94 351 computer and harness from the junkyard and your set. IF you have the 4R70w, I'd take the E4OD from the '96 along with the swap.

There is one exception to the OBD2 for 96!
If the engine came out of a truck with a GVWR over 8500#, they were exempt!
They ran on good ol' speed density and used a single o2 sensor.
So if your engine came from an F or E 350, some 250s as well, you don't need the OBD swap, or a MAF.
The ignition module is different though. (distributor)
