91 F150, 302, fuel saving tips

Just got a my 91 F150, with 302 eng, pretty crappy mileage, anybody got any tips to save some gas? Add on parts, removing parts, anything. Thanks!

Check/replace your spark plugs(motorcraft), wires(Ford Racing = bang for your buck), cap/rotor, and higher energy coil(I used Accel, and it's been great). This got me a full 2mpg increase.

give her a goood ol' tune up. spark plugs wires cap and rotor fuel filter pcv valve air filter oil change oil filter change fuel injector cleaner maybe rotate your tires or get new ones like in my case. and dont forget you get what you pay for. bad parts=bad gas milage "__"

the 5.8 will out mileage the 5.0 so consider an engine swap

Remove any un necsesary weight. Drive like your grandma is in the back.

uh, i think he might be trying to save money, yes, it would get better mpg 'cause it wouldnt have to work so hard, but that is one heck of a job, and a bit pricey too, it might be worth it, you'd have to figure out how much it would cost for the swap and how much gas you'd be saving. It could work, but idk
