Draining old fuel

Hey Rusty,
I had to do this about 4 months ago. I got some 3/8" white hose from home depot and worked it into the tank. The hose is kinda hard and fairly tough to bend. I snaked it into the tank and syphoned out as much gas as I could.
A tank of gas can be quite heavy even if it is a gallon and you don't want it sloshing around while you are trying to lower the tank.
You have to take the inlet hose off the tank, to get it out of the truck and if there is gas in the tank, you could have a spill.
Once you get as much gas out as you can, cover the tank inlet with something to keep excess gas from coming out and trash getting in.
Sparks and open flames are a NO NO!
Have the same truck, by the way.
Hope that helps! Its how I did it.
