I'm doing a 300 I6 to a 302 V8 engine swap...Can anyone give me info?

Hey, everyone...I have a 1986 Ford F-150 supercab 4x4 with a 4 speed manual and the I6. Recently the I6 blew up, and I want to put a 302 engine from a 1982 F-150 single cab. the 302 is complete. I would like to know what I would need to modify on the 86 in order to put the 302 in. I've heard about flywheel differences (since i'm keeping the original tranny) and maybe motor mounts? Any help would be great.
PS: I'm replacing the whole exhaust from engine to tailpipe, so i have that taken care of:-)

Motor mounts for sure. As long as both motors are carbed, wire harness should be plug and play?

Radiator, fan shroud, all belt-driven accessories & brackets, the engine perches riveted to the frame, wiring in the engine bay & dash...

You can find more info by searching on FSB.

Engine

That frame is probally already drilled for the V-8 they were usally set up for the six or eight so all you need is the 302 mounts more than likely.I've done six to eight swaps with no problem they are built at the factory to accept either for conveniance of the what people order six or eight.

No, the engine perches are riveted on for only 1 type of engine.
