Weighed the F150 today...
Took a load of scrap steel to the dump and got some scale time.
Unloaded the truck weighed 4300#s.
This was full gas, spare mounted, without me in truck.
It's a 1990 F150 Lariat 4x2 5.0/E4OD standard cab with 8' bed.
Just thought some folks might be interested in getting a general idea of weight!
I also noticed recently someone suggesting that a std cab truck is same weight as a 5.0 Mustang!
I knew in my gut that notion was WAY OFF...
Now it's proof positive that an F150 is substantially heavier.
Better than 1000#s!

Based on best guestimation of the extra gear, fuel load and what I'm actually dumping, my truck should go over the scales empty at right about 4750-4800 lbs.
1995 Supercab 4x4, standard bed, 302.
Other than the crap bedliner, tonneau cover, and receiver hitch, just about everything else is stock as far as weight.
