95 w/Bad vibration problems
First of all hello to everyone as im new here and now for the problem. It's a 95 4wd with an automatic, coming home the other day running around 40-50 i started to get a small vibration then a severe vibration that was felt in the steering wheel and actually the whole truck. As i would speed up it kinda cleared out but the instant i let off the gas the vibration came back. The universals seemed fine with no play but could this still be my problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Generally when universals are going it's apparent in the form of play when you check them. Sometimes it's not, but usually not if it is to the point of causing a vibration in the entire truck.
I would check for wheel and tire problems first. Often simply rotating the tires will "move" the vibration, changing the speed it happens at, if the tires are a cause.
Front suspension joints might be a cause as well.
Have you ruled out engine problems causing the shake?

I would suggest that you take a very close look at all of your drive shaft universals.
I ended up spending approx $350 to have all of mine replaced/new yoke/balanced due to me thinking that it wasn't the problem and snapping the rear one along with damaging the rear yoke.
remember what the commerical said "You can pay a little bit now or PAY later"
