Question Gear box seal kit???

Has anyone rebuilt their steering gearbox? I put in a new one made by AGR (stock rebuild) about 2 yrs ago....and now it's leaking around the sector shaft by the pitman arm. Its a small leak, but I want to fix it.
Any ideas where to get a seal rebuild kit?

Thanks,
Jerry D.

any reputable chain store should have the kit. I would asssume that as long as your box is stock it should be the same. I purchased the full rebuilt kit, Powercraft pn 8769 at either Advance or AutoZone. I'm sorry I can't remember which one. They also have the pitman arm puller.

anticipating the next ?

No I haven't gotten my done yet. My difficulty is that the puller arms were too big to fix over my pitman arm. I ground them down some but still not enough. A local shop quoted me $158 since I had the kit. I bought a $3 quart and have been riding for over a month now. Hopefully I figure it out soon.

I'd quit wasting time & $ on that AGR, and just get a stock reman from Advance. It comes with a LLT warranty, which is much better than AGR's 1-year, and it's like 1/2 the price. Mine is over 8 years old with no problems.

If you're determined to fix it...

Thanks guys!
I think you're right.
I talked to AGR and they told me they dont sell seal kits....but they would rebuild it for $150. I told them to blow me!
