AC grief

Got a problem with my 88's AC, and would like to know if something can be done. The pulley will spin just fine without the compressor kicking in. However, the clutch seems to be non-functioning now. Does this mean that the clutch is shot, or is the compressor Tango Uniform? If it's just the clutch, can this be pulled and replaced by yours truly without too much trouble, or am I just better off pulling the entire compressor?

you need to check the wire going to the compressor for voltage when you have your a/c on. if there is voltage then you can suspect the clutch. if no voltage is detected there could be many things causing the problem. check the voltage first then we can get into other problems later

if the refrigerant level is low your clutch will not kick in. have you had it retrofited yet to r134?
