81 ford f-150 4.9L emissions

I replaced an 81 engine with a 82 4.9l and now I seem to have extra vacuum ports. Anyone with an 81 who can take a picture of the vacuum connections near thermos stat housing? Are there connections there? The picture on grill is faded.
Thanks

If you can't find the appropriate vacuum diagram here, you can here.

Is it a vacuum port (small), or secondary air (BIG)?

vacuum diagrams

Whats VCV?. Is there a place I can look to see what these are, Vreser, VCK V? The part in question is on the thermos stat housing. It has 4 or 5 places to connect a vacuum hose and they are small.

Thanks Sam

VCV = Vacuum Control Valve
VCKV = Vacuum Check Valve
VRES = Vacuum Reservoir
TVV = Thermostatically-controlled Vacuum Valve

I think we made a thread about abbreviations & acronyms on FSB a year or 2 back, so try a few searches there for more info.

That's a 4-port TVV you're describing, and it's used to control the heat riser valve & the EGR.
