It's as hard as getting those bolts off.
Check the receiver hitch for clearance if you have one. On my truck I could get the old tank out without removing it by bending the sides of the tank up a little, but putting it back in required removing the hitch.
Everyone has a different opinion on the line tools, I have mine in the gallery photos here and that's the one that worked best for me. Actually it's the only one that worked when I did my tank.
It's really not a bad job to do. Some do it from below, others remove the bed and do it from above. On my truck if I didn't have to mess with the hitch I could have been done in a couple hours max.
