headers to twice pipes

so i put full length headers on my 88 5.0. ....and it looks like it is gonna be pain in the **** to run the pipes on the driver side because of the t-case and the front drive shaft, i think the easy way would be to go under the tranny cross member but that would a) look wierd from a distance b) lower the ground clearance and put the pipe down low enough that it would get damaged on a high center . so i was kinda wondering if any one else has jumped this hurtle? i am thinkin of getting one of those "hot rod builders" exhaust kits from jegs that comes with a bunch of U bent pipes so you can make an exhaust for tight spaces and run the exhaust over the cross member and across, under the rear of the t case so it would end up beside the passenger side pipe then exit both of them together in front of the wheel sound like a plan?? or a nightmare??
