2 inch leveling kit Daystar
I just installed some DAYSTAR 2" FRONT LIFT/LEVELING
KIT under my front coil springs to level my truck.
The instructions clearly stated to have the alignment
checked after installation, so I did.
The "tire place" I took it to said that my alignment
was now 2 degrees off and that I needed to get some
special hardware to fix it and that they couldn't do
the alignment. They wanted 900.00 plus parts to fix
it.
Has anyone messed with these daystar leveling kits?
The truck looks good with them on, but I'm a little
concerned about the Alignment issue.
91 ford f150 4*4 5.8 end. v-8
Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm betting either two things:
--You may have messed something up with the install and caused them to say that...doubtful, but hey...
--They don't know what they're talking about. Go somewhere else.
Just getting a height adjustment shouldn't cause you to have to "reinvent the wheel" to get an alignment. You *should* be able to get it aligned without much of a problem...heck, it was just a 2" kit...
