My buddy has a 1995 5.0L F-150. I am selling my 1715 and he asked if it would work on his truck. I have read that the 1715 covers 96-03 F-150's with the 5.0, 5.8, 4.6, 5.4, etc...but I don't know the difference between the 95's and 96's. Aren't all 95's ODB II? If the Microtuner doesn't work, is there anything that will? Thanks!!!

 

96 and up took the OBD II plug. He can get a chip made but the tuner won't work.

BTW, are their any common performance mods that can be done on the cheap, or free like on the newer F-150's? Even not free...what best bang for the buck mods bring the ponies to the 5.0?
