Hey I am new ... well kind of. (SEE PICS)

Whats up people. I am kind of new here and I only say that cause I havent posted in a while although I created my membership a while back.

Anyways I wanted to share my story here with you. THe pics below are of my truck. I bought this truck on e-bay for 800 dollars.

Here is everything that was bad on it:
Engine had a bad pistion....
2nd Gas tank fuel pump didnt work.
Starter was going on it.
Too small of a battery.
Missing air intake tubing.
Motor mounts shot.
Transmission mounts shot.
Shocks shot.
The paint looked like garbage.
Windshield was cracked.
Electric window motors broken.
1 electric door lock broken.
Rear sway bar bushings ...didnt exist.
A/C doesnt work.
Bed liner was worped due to fire.
Power steering leaked.

Once I got it. I started to work on it. Everything that was listed above that was wrong with it has now been fixed. Well all except the A/C which I already have the compressor for...

I had it painted Gun metal Gray.

Here is what I also have lined up for the near future.
3 inch lift.
New tires preferrably 32 X 10.5 X 15. I would like to get new rims but I dont know if the wife well let be venture in that area...hehehe.

Interior is going to get done also.

Oh by the way the engine is rebuilt 351. Just about all the accesories on the engine are new. It looks like crap only because when I got it back from paint it was all dusty and they told me not to use any of those chemicals until at least 2 weeks.... so once I can wash the engine and wash the truck I will take more pics.

Here are some pics let me know what you guys think so far.

Check out the pics here.

Wow, very sharp! Gotta love the old iron.

We had a 91 just like yours cept it was ex cab and a stick. I was 7 and in the passenger seat and dad and i were rearended at 40 mph by a drunk woman in a landcruser at a stopsign. Turned the 8 foot bed into bout 2 or so, but if it wasn't for the toughness of these trucks, i know i would be dead.

Can you do me a favor? I would like a closeup shot of the exterior lariat badge to compare it to the one on my 84.

Hey no hurry, just something that I thought of when I saw your truck.

This is whats on the back of my 84, but I dont think it is a period badge.

You dont have this logo on your truck anywhere do you?

Thanks,
