Tire size for stock 15x7.5 wheels

What is the largest size I can fit on there that will also not effect the speedo too much or the ABS?

As long as all 4 tires are the same size it won't effect the ABS. Any different size will change the speedo. You can go up to about a 10.5 wide tire on a 7.5 inch rim. We need to know wat kind of truck you have to tell you what will fit.

94 Flareside 4x4

I was thinking 31x10.5

If I can manage a 33x10.5 on there I'd prefer that.

I'm running 33x12.5 on 15x7.5 rims and no problems. with a 3" body lift of course to keep from rubbing the bumper or fenders.

I'm going to keep the stock ride height.

I should probably just go with 31's then

I run 31X10.50 with no noticeable trouble, it is only about a 10% gain in size. I believe all you need to do to run 33" is move the front bumper forewards a bit with some spacers. There is a way to reprogram the speedo/odo for correct reading for various tire sizes. It is fairly involved, I could see if I have it lying around still

I have the same model truck and same color and thinking about getting the same size tires. Do you have a picture you could share? Just curious

Looks like that post was 15 yrs ago. I owned a 94 F150 XLT SWB 4x4 that had 31x10.5x15 tires on it and it looked like they belonged on the truck. They were on it when I bought it and I put 60k miles on the truck before trading it and the tires were only half gone. The original tires were narrower, taller, but not as wide.
