Header and exhuast manifold, will it hurt

The story is my header ball is smashed and I've spent countless hours trying to keep it from leaking to no avail (I tried taking it off and brought it to muffler shop to try and reball it, but it did'nt work to well because he could'nt put it in the machine far enough, I tried some kind of muffler cement, that crap just fell apart, I tried high temp silicone, no dice there either). Now the option is put stock exhaust manifold back on, because no $$$ right now. Will it hurt to run a stock cast exhaust manifold on one side and a BBK header on the other. I know more backpressure on the stocker and less flow, but will it hurt something or should I put both stockers on till I can get new headers? Will it hurt it just for a couple days or maybe a week at most? What do you think? Thanks

I doubt it would hurt, especially if it won't be long before you put another header on.
