Front End

My truck looks to be having some front end problems. The front end feels alittle loose, and if you look at it, the tops of the tires are facing the engine compartment alittle bit. I was thinking that this was most likely caused by worn ball joints, but I am not sure, since I jacked it up, and tried to shake the tire, but the tire didn't move, and I didn't want it to fall off of the jack.

It's common for the steering boxes to loosem up as they get old, they are adjustable, that will tighten up the steering a bit. As for the tires being tilted in, old sagging springs cause that with the twin traction beam suspension they have under there. New springs or some airbags will fix that. Do you have a plow on the front? If so you would definitely want some airbags.

Nope, no plow...

Thanks, I'll check out the steering box... Is there an easy way to tell if the springs are going?
