Edelbrock performer truck intake?

Anybody have/tried one of these?
What kind of power increase would you get from these on a 87 5.0?

I've had one on for about 5 yrs now. It works great w/ a noticeable improvement in the bottom end.
I also ran a 1" heat spacer in between the upper and lower intake to help w/ the top end power....just something to think about.

How do you like your mass air conversion kit?

Definitely worth the money!
I had a bunch of idle problems without the kit, And after the install it all paned out.
Good luck and keep us posted. If you need some help w/ the install give me a shout

Yup it works well from what I understand, the ports are smaller increasing air velocity thus increasing power down low. I'd buy one if they weren't ~$550!

I too have the FMS MAF kit, while I like it a lot...I was sad to see it came with a puny 55mm MAF. I immediately scored a factory '70mm one from a '94GT mustang then I could use the F150 FIPK too.

My FMS MAF is was installed last friday! So far I an extremely happy. My truck runs alot better, smoother too on idle and on the gas. I actually said that it runs like a totally different truck when I first drove it.

I also put in a set of aluminum BBK underdrive pulleys and a set of NGK iridium plugs too.

It feels more peppy now and it one wheel peels a lot easier too.

The edelbrock intake will prolly be my next mod down the road when I get some money saved up again. Those MAF kits aint cheap!
