Rently my father gave me his old pick it's and 87 F150 Custom, a while ago the brake lights stopped working, no problem I got under it and checked the wiring and fixed the problem but as soon as i climb under it I find the gas tank is held up by rope and some coat hangers!! So i asked my dad and he said it was like that when he purchased it about a year ago he was going to get the straps but just never did. I'm in the sheet metal trade so I can make them my self from stainless steel but I can seem to find any sizes on them and the parts department at the dealer was no help, So can anyone tell me what the sizes could be?

New ones are only about $15 at Napa. Not sure about the size. I would say they are about 2 inches wide, one end has a hook on it, the other has a bolt hole. I'm not sure about the length.
