Been noticing in my '94 F150 5.0 auto E4OD an increased ping and a buck under any sort of a load. I'm no expert (obviously), but should I pursue a good throttle body cleaning and a new EGR and exhaust position sensor?

 

I am happy to report that after much investigation, my pinging has stopped.

Been running VERY LEAN and discovered a bad EGR valve and clogged fuel filter. NO MORE PING!!!!!
