Eaton Detroit Locker for 8.8 with 31 spline axles

SOLD

Nearly new Detroit Locker diff. Came as "extra parts" with the 5-speed conversion Lightning I purchased in 2009. Been in its original box stored away since then. Finally decided I'm not going to use it.

Previous owner purchased in 2009, installed in the truck then removed it a week later. He didn't like its street manners.

VERY little use, far less than 1000 miles, has fresh carrier bearings installed on diff.

$500 shipped to you.

You are absolutely correct in a Lightning only coming with the 9.75 diff. However, you speak only of the 2nd generation Lightnings built by Ford from 1999 to 2004.

The 1st generation Lightnings came with a 8.8 diff with 31 spline axles. Those trucks were built by Ford from 1993 to 1995.

Since this website only has "Lightning" parts for sale and not differentiating between the Gen 1's and Gen 2's I listed it here.
