The SCT tuner with Troyer custom tunes will only work on a truck with the same exact pcm code as yours, otherwise the custom tunes are useless.

the tuner is ok though? just the pre loaded tunes I bought are no good? sorry for the ignorance I didn't know that.

The canned tunes are fine, will work. The custom tunes won't unless as I described.
