Offroad toys.

Not sure if there's another thread like this, but show off your offroad rigs.

here's a couple of mine from over the past 5 years.

79 k5, I painted it, fixed the floors, put in custom seats, bought 2.5 ton Rockwell axles to put under it. was going to put it on 47's and have a big mud truck, but I decided I wanted something smaller so sold it and the axles.

After that I bought an 88.5 samurai completely stock. Here's what I turned it into.

Then I decided I wanted something a little faster that I could put on like 33 inch Boggers. Something that was low and could still do doughnuts and slide around in the mud. So I bought an 88 4runner with the removable top. I painted it dark gray just gave it a couple inches of lift and stick some 33x10.5 Boggers on it. It was probably the most fun of my rides until then. I actually still have it but am in the process of selling it. Here's what it looks like now

And that brings me up to last week when I bought a jagged x edition 900 rzr. It is now the most fun I've had with any of my other trucks. This one is here to stay for sure. Here's a picture I took the first day out. It has a roof and windshield now and rear seats are on the way.

Other than my truck, nuthin, unless you count my Pelican 146DLX canoe...

Once I get the debt gone, and the truck where I want it, I will be looking for a deal on a good used 4wd side X side... Something for the hunting lease, but maybe also something to abuse on the beach with my wife. She seems to like riding a sxs or even an ATV with me, she is terrified of four wheeling in the truck...

By the way, really loving that 4Runner. Too bad you are bailing on that rig. Those are a lot of fun...

Cool

Well, I really don't do any "Off Roading" as it were. I have some property in Burlington, West Virginia. We hunt out there, mostly deer, turkey, squirrel. Last year I bought a '12 Polaris Ranger HD, the last year they were available. I had the Pro Steel cab installed with the canvas doors. I needed a lighter door because I knew that I would be removing the drivers from time to time. Plus it's nice during warm weather to take them off. It also has the tip out windshield, a cab heater, Inside rearview and side view mirrors, a winch, two gun scabbards with the carrier mounted in the bed, front brushguard and rear bumper, and a silencer muffler added to help quite it down while I travel around the woods. Works well. This year I bought a new GoPro with a remote. I mount it on the front of the Ranger and take video as I travel around the property. It's fun. I have Rigid Dually spot lights mounted on the cab roof. I started out with the Dually D2 driving lights in amber on the brushguard. And they were OK, but not really enough light. This past June I replaced them with a set of Rigid 6" combo lights. Big difference in illumination. Then I also had windshield wipers installed. Found out last year in the snow how bad I needed them. I like driving it around the maintain, plus it keeps the scratches and scrapes from trees, shrubs, etc. from damaging the paint on the truck.
