Black mountain Adventure area

Saw it on the show "Trucks" and thought shoot i gotta go there this summer, So I was wondering if anyone on here has ever been there before? Id like to make a trip down there this summer, But im not sure if I there would be trails I could concor with my truck and still know I could make it the 450mi back home. So I was wondering if anyone has taken there truck before. And if they suggest takin the quads Instead? Obviously I would like to take it extremely easy with the truck down there since its so far from home.

Just saw this post. I have been to Black Mountain twice. Taken atv both times. Some friends have taken trucks, and I have seen alot of them there. I have never seen a stock truck. All of them have been mildly lifted setting at least on 33's. Good luck if you decide to make the trip. It is a awesome place. There is a place around Avon, IN also. That may be a little closer for you.

I've been a couple times with my truck and my wife's Jeep. I've got a leveling kit and 35" M/T's on the truck and it handled the trails fine. You have your rock courses that I didn't go anywhere near, but for the trails it is fine. The only problem is the trails are only cleared out for Jeep size vehicles and a lot of overhanging branches and trees mean lots of pin striping, and I got a couple pretty good scratches out of it. There are some decent mud holes and hills you can climb too. It's a lot of fun.
