broken actuator mount

hello I have a 99 f150 4wd I was having lots of problems with the 4wd engaging come to find out the vacuum actuator mount is broken off the diff I really don't want to replace the diff please tell me someone else has had this problem before and had knowledge of a way to fix it

I don't see instructions, but the pics are pretty good if you look thru them. Otherwise, I have replaced the shift fork, it only takes a couple hours tops to R&R the front axle. You could probably get one cheap at a junkyard.

The actuator itself was about $50.00 for my '06 Took about 2 hrs to replace it. The actuator is hard plastic. You may be able to JB weld the thing, but I don't recommend it.
