I have a 2007 f150 with an 8in lift and when i put into 4wd and put a little got on it something makes a snapping noise then it doesn't make it every time only occasionally its usually when first putting it in 4wd im not sure what it is but its concerning me

 

Did you find anything out on the popping?
Mines been doing it on the drivers side front, but only in 4wd, and only when giving it a good amount of gas.

Thats my first thought, i checked the iwe's today, and everything seemed to work correct,but i may look into the cv shaft.
Any way to check for a bad cv shaft?, the boots all look to be in good shape.
