It's a $500 fix per side, and the job was not terribly difficult. I got the hub assembly from Ford for $400 and the seals were $100 for both. I went to Advance Auto Parts and the hub there was $50 cheaper. I decided to go with the factory hub assembly instead.

I am having the same problem on both sides of my truck as well. Now however every so often i get a pretty bad vibration from the front end as well, could this be related to the IWE?

well today i was doing another vacuum test and found another (2) holes in the hard line going around/ under battery tray

funny thing is all the holes im finding are not rubbed, they are all soft spots in the hard tubing peices like a chemical is softening them up, i've used nothing under the hood since i've owned it

so i ordered a new line set (complete)$75 bucks and new iwe's for both sides($120 each) becouse at this piont i'm sure the existing has got to be damaged

i'm just holding my breath as to what extra i find and have to fix when i start into the iwe's

If you guys want to wander down to the 2004-2008 forum and use the "search" function, you'll find everything you ever wanted to know about the IWE system and its problems (and fixes) in some posts by TNF150. Working from his posts, I fixed all of the problems on my 2005 myself and saved a fortune.
