4x4 poping and grinding

having problems with my 4x4 . i tried to engage it when i was leaving my house and when i got half way down my street (100 feet or so) i could hear and kinda feel a fairly loud pop come from the drivers front . shortly after that i was turning right at a stop sign and again i could here and feel it kinda like it's binding up or not fully engaging .. this happened a few time more through out the day when turning , and it always seemed like it was the front drivers side... anyone know or have had similer problems ? any help would be great , we got about a foot of snow last night so i need my 4x4 working....please help guys

Unless you have a TON of miles on it, a 2007 should still be under warranty - take it to the dealer. It probably needs an IWE.

I was having that same problem on my 04, took it to my mechanic, ended up being the vacuum line for the 4x4.

The 04+ trucks use integrated wheel ends, not a lock in the differential.
