I am interested in the friction modifier. Does it give the clutch more or less grip? If it gives it less grip then it sounds like it would reduce the effectiveness of limited slip when on slippery surfaces.

The modifier makes it engage smoother and less abrupt. That can actually be a benefit on slippery surfaces.
