Preferences on gear brands?

So I have a fairly decent lift on my 4x4 running 37's (even though I have room to go a little bigger) but I am still runnin 3.73's that came with the truck. I wanna go 4.88's but obviously I wanna get the best brand possible. Is Yukon the best because I seem to hear their name the most or is it just the name I am paying for? Any insights?

i don't know too much about gears but yukon does seem to be a promising brand, and quality really counts when it has to do with gears.

I've got Yukons in my '02 4x4. 8.8 diffs front and rear 4.10:1 ratio. Other than the price, no complaints. They have given me little trouble in 30,000 miles of use so far. They make a little noise now due on my part for not refilling the diff back up all the way when I changed the fluid out WARNING: keep away fromduring things like that. Wait untill you are finished.
I installed them to get some towing performance out of my 4.6 powered truck.
