I have a 97 f150 4 wheel drive.The manual 4 wheel drive linkage seems to be stuck does not move.I have tried to spray with liwuid wrench and wd40 and that has not helped.I think it just needs to be oiled up was not used much this winter.I looked at it quick.It appear there are just 2 bolts holding it to the transmission.I just trying to firgure of to seperate it from where is connects to the transfer case.I appears I can just pry it out of the plastic bushing, but wanted to check that this can be done before I do it.Hate to break something.

 

I just read I need a special tool to remove the linkage.Can anyone confirm this?
