I have a 97 f150 fwd. When you turn the switch on the dash the fwd wont engage at all. I tested the wires to see if there was any power to the shift motor on the transfer case and there was none. So i checked the switch next and there was no power there either. Both of the fuses are good but im not sure what to look for next. When you turn the switch none of the lights on the dash light up either. Any suggestions would be helpful.

 

This may help http://www.4x4posi-lok.com/app_ford.html I ended up using this kit on my truck. I searched ebay for a bit and found one new in box for 79 bucks. Works perfect, plus i have 2 wheel drive low, which is nice when trying to back up to trailers and such on pavement. Hope this is helpful!
