My truck is a 98 f150 4x4 and i just replaced my left front hub bearing and threw this together for yall. Not saying it is 100% but it is basic so you can get it done. I have never done this b4 and it only took me 30mins

POP center cap off


Remove carter pin and cover

 

This is what it should look like showing 36mm bolt


Break it loose when truck on ground and remover bolt. After you do that jack truck up and pull tire.


Remove caliper the 2-13mm caliper bolts and slide caliper and take off break pads.

 

Then remove the caliper mount by removing the 2-18mm bolts holding it on. After you have that remove slide the caliper mount off


Then remove the heat shield so you can see better by removing the 3-8mm bolts


Then Remove the 3-15mm bolts holding the hub on and slide the hub off

 

It should look like this



The new one and repeat everything you did to put it back together using loctite on your bolts. Verry simple i hope this somewhat helps.

 

If someone whats to add torque specs please do. I just he maned them LOL

I replaced the front hubs on a '04 Silverado 2500 HD this summer at the dairy I work for. It was basically the same thing, but there are 4 bolts mounting a very different hub assembly on. Cool to see the difference in the design.
