gear question

im thinking about taking my front drive shaft out of my truck and installin 4.88 gears in my rear....and i know as long as i dont have 4wd i wont go offroading which i need to take a break from lol if you read my post in the offroading section...but as soon as i get my truck back i want to get the rear done with new gears....whats a good website to order from and how much do you think it will cost me to get just the rear done...

about $250-300 in labor and whatever the gears plus master install kit cost.

if you want to save the hassle with the driveshaft, just dont put it in 4 wheel. You don't have to remove the front drive shaft
