If it is still there, there is a tag on the door with a code.

Then check this thread.

yup

19 — 3.55 non-limited slip — F-150
25 — 4.10 non-limited slip — F-150
26 — 3.73 non-limited slip — F-150/Mark LT
27 — 3.31 non-limited slip — F-150
B5 — 4.10 limited slip — F-150
B6 — 3.73 limited slip — F-150/Mark LT
H9 — 3.55 limited slip — F-150
18 = 3.08 non-limited slip — F-150

more then likely you have 3.55 open, but you might be lucky and have 3.73 LS

It's is stated backwards. The higher RATIO is the lower number. The best mileage and best gear ratio depends on some factors. How you drive, city or highway, weight of vehicle, and size of engine. In other words, the least strain with the lowest engine rpms will result in the best gas mileage. If you are doing all city driving with a heavy vehicle, 3.73s might do better than 3.30s or 3.55s. Just depends.

I bet it allows you to change the gears just like tires. He will set it as the default, but you can change it. The Gryphon is that way.

i just hope i dont have to owe anything. someone said that if you misread info about the truck, or get a small new mod within the first couple of months, he rewrites it for free....

what motor have you got? Planning on keeping the stock tire size or going bigger?

If you're going to stay stock, I'd look at 4.10s
