Gears for my 2wd 4.6L?

So I've got a 2004 4.6L V8. I honestly don't know much about gears aside from what I learned on this site. I was hoping someone could chime in with some recommendations. I will be putting on some 35's eventually. As for now I'm running some 265/70/17's. I know better gears would help push the bigger tires, but would they also wreck my 265's? Also, what ratio is recommended? Any specific manufacturer?

Thanks for the suggestion GIP1979. Anyone else? Also I guess I should include that I put in about 3/4 city driving and 1/4 of highway. By the way, why Yukon?

id say either 4.56's or 4.30's

If you tow frequently then go with 4.56's

If you are constantly on the highway go with 4.30's

If you drive a mixed drive with less or equal highway to City driving then get 4.56's

in short:

alot of highway = 4.30

alot of towing = 4.56

a combination of both = 4.56

city driving and towning = 4.56

hope you understand

Gotcha 4.2Trimble. Thanks for your input! I'm thinking 4.56's. I rarely tow, but I'm thinking my new job may bring about need for them. So what kind of place am I looking for to install the gears once I get them in? I've asked a few places and nobody wants to touch them. Any advice? Also, I'm in the Houston area.

here is my preference on gear brands, in order: precision, yukon, ford racing. stay away from anything else.
