I read a thread on here that stated that 05's had a non-serviceable rear drive shaft. Some may, however for future reference though NOT ALL do! I just replaced the rear u-joint on my 05 STX 4.6 4x4. It was a pain in the ****! I had to use a good deal of heat, and a 3 foot cheater pipe on my vice. I bent the handle pretty good in the process breaking those little bastids free! Just wanted to share with those of you who may need to do this and think that they can't. If your d/s has clips that retain the joint you can replace them. Only the staked in ones can't be replaced (from what i've read).
