How hard is it to change Spark Plugs on 01?
I wasnt sure where to post this. But my 2001 supercab 4.6 is running really rough and especally at 56-60MPH when the rpms drop.
My buddy said he thinks it has a bad plug. How hard is it to replace them/how much?
Do I need any special tools to do it myself? I am in college so money is tight.
Thanks for any and all help!

Do a search. This has been covered a ton. You will find an article a guy wrote for his van. That is what I used only I did not use anti seize on the plugs and I torqued mine to 14 foot pounds. Be sure to use plenty of dielectric grease in the COP or spark plug boots (depending on your set up). Good luck.

It is not difficult to change the plugs, but it is challenging.
I made extensive use of my 1/4 inch socket set. 8mm short and long sockets, a 1/4 wiggle joint and a variety of extensions.
Take your time and you can complete the job in a few hours easily.
Choose your plugs wisely and ditto for the di-electric grease.
