04 screw u joint
Just a heads up, had rough riding between 45 and 65. Turns out my main u joint was going out. Happened over the 4th of July weekend so everything was closed. Also, for the 04 model, it is a dealership only part that is $$$ compared to your regular joints. Thought I would share my experiences...

Junk Shaft
I feel your pain. I just went through the same experience today. My local dealer said it would cost close to $400 to replace two u-joints on my rear drive shaft. It would cost a bit over $500 for a new drive shaft. A friend then sent me to a shop that makes new shafts. The tech there told me he tried to replace the u-joints on one of these shafts and said it came out worse than when he started. He said the shafts are made in Australia, and there is a reason the tag on the shaft reads "scrap if dropped". He is making me a new shaft with common $20 u-joints for $336.
