Well I finally got my new gears installed I can already feel a big differance. I cant wait to get them broken in so that I can jam on it a little, and hook up to my travel trailer and see how it tows. I went from 3.55 to 4.10 and also installed an Auburn HP the gears are Motive. The guy I had install them did it for a gr8t price $350 front and rear and they are quiet. I am out the door for a grand total of $1300. My next move I think will be OBX headers I either have a gasket problem or a small crack in the manifold. either way the wife WILL be led to believe that it is the manifold sooooo.. At this time I also am running with the Superchips programmer. can my existing programmer be custom tuned?? Probably the wrong thread for that question. I'm doing all this because the trailer is around 7,400# loaded and I want to make it as easy on the truck as I can.
But anyway Just excited about the gear swap and to say thanks to everybody that helped me to decide on the gearing and brand.
