More than one type of 4R70W tranny?
I've been trying to order a rebuilt tranny for my 2000 F150 4.6L. I keep getting responses from the suppliers that they need the tranny tag number to get the right fit. What is the tag number and wouldn't the VIN provide all the info any one would need to get me the proper replacement?
