2005 F150 4X4 wheel locking up in 4wd??

I recently had my 05 F150 in 4WD high and made a turn as if pulling out of a driveway onto the road. It seemed one of my wheels locked up. I'm assuming it was one of the rear wheels. The 4wd seems fine until you make a turn. This is the first 4WD vehicle I've owned. Could this be some kind of characteristic when making a sharp turn slow with 4WD engaged? Any ideas??

If you are on dry or even not very slick pavement then yes. But I would describe it as more of a binding in the front end. If you are not used to it, you could think something is wrong with the truck. Hopefully it's nothing but I wouldn't think it would seem like a rear wheel locking up but I guess it could be interpretted that way. Hopefully some others will be along with more feedback for you.

Since its your first 4x4, the golden rule is, never use 4x4 on dry pavement. EVER. It will tear it up. Use it on dirt or in the heavy rain. Enjoy

Thanks for the help. I'm sure now it was the dry pavement.
