Just picked up the supplies needed to do the Gotts Mod for mine as well as my Dad's '99 XLT 5.4L. Thanks for leading me in that direction!

Any other ideas of inexpensive things to do, feel free to let me know! I do plan to clean the MAF sensor and probably take out the intake silencer.

Has anybody installed HID lights in the stock housings for headlights and fog lights and if so, were there any heat issues on the lenses? I installed HID in my 2010 Focus in the stock housings without any issues, but different shape/depth may yield different results in the 150... I'd like it to stay looking mostly stock, so I'm not really wanting to get projector/halos in order to have HID.

Thanks again all!

Edit: and yes... I properly aimed my last set of HID's so they didn't blind people, but were still extremely bright, even in the stock housings. I assume F-150's can be aimed properly as well.

Have a 2wd Heritage w 44k - Mint Condition

Will post pics later - wanting to sell. Prices are all over the place but I can't find a comparison with those few miles on it. Any ideas? Thanks all.

These pics are from the ad when I bought it. I plan to put up a build/restification thread soon with more current pics & progress.
This truck is now available. Of course it has a few more miles and has endured a few Northeast winters. Where is the best place for me to find an accurate value for this truck? Sadly, ApocalypseF150 passed away and I must sell his vehicle.

I just paid $4000 for one with 135K, one owner. It came with a camper shell, too. A mechanic who I know and trust told me it was worth 5000 max. I think prices vary a lot by geography.

If you can be reasonable I might be interested. What color is yours? Where are you?
Thanks,
Andrew

Are there supposed to be lights in the doors behind the red reflectors? I popped mine off yesterday and seen a hole where it looked like a small fixture should/could be mounted, but there was nothing there on either doors. No light coming from inside either. Did we just not get them because we have the red reflectors instead of the clear ones like normal 150's?

Heritage owner in New Zealand

Add another Heritage to the list, I have one here in Christchurch New Zealand...just as it is for sale. First registered here in 2003 and was converted to right hand drive when it was imported.

Black over charcoal, get heaps of compliments on it as F150's are not common here being the conversion is rather expensive, about 30k now days. I put projector headlights on it as the originals were not good at all and made worse by the fact that being reflector lens there was always a compromise in their adjustment driving on the left side of the road.

Have bought a 2001 XLT 4X4 for high country fishing and camping trips. Need to change the lights on the new one so does anyone know the best fitting/quality brand?

Get some pics uploaded to an album and post a couple. Good luck with the truck.

Just picked up a topper for mine today. I like the look of it. Got it on Craigslist for $100.
It has some scratches and scuffs, but I didn't want to buy an expensive one right off the bat in case I didn't like it. I think down the road, I'll upgrade to a sleeker looking one maybe in the $400-$500 range. (Used of course) On a side note, I spotted a Black over Gray in Hudson, WI a while back and also a Black over Burgundy in Blaine, MN.

You can add another one to the count. Black/tan 2003 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition. In fact, it's for sale in NJ. 122K miles.

I've seen 2 blue / grey ones in scarborough ontario
one was at a used car lot & beat to hell
the other was mint , in the drive through in front of me

I saw the beat up one first so they probably weren't one & the same

- I've been kicking around the idea of copying the two tone paint idea to make my white 01 black on top with white sides
