I have the black and maroon heritage .... I am very curious to know how many of these are still out there. Mine had a leer bed cover, which I loved!!

Also, my truck was stolen on jan 5th 2015. I finally got it back, but they rattle canned my rims, took my bed cover and took my running boards off as well as my window vents I am looking to replace these items but ford says they are no longer made. Can anyone tell me what aftermarket item will be the closest to factory? As soon as I can figure out how to upload pics I will

AFTER:<br/>With a lot of hard work and love and care it has cleaned up fairly well. However, my boards, cover, vent shades and front emblems are gone and because they spray painted my rims black I cannot get them back to how they were. If someone knows where I can get these replaced at a descent price in the Kansas City MO area please le me know as I want my truck back how it was!!

 

I asked a while ago and never got an answer, so I'll try again... Is there supposed to be bulbs behind the reflectors in the front doors? I popped the covers off and there is a mounting hole for a bulb fixture, but there is no fixture in either side. I'm wondering if maybe they are laying down inside behind the door panel. I don't want to take it apart just to find out though unless someone confirms that there should be lights there.

Just for fun, here's an updated pic of mine. I've had it for just over 14 months now and just hit 100,000 miles a few weeks ago. That was a sad day, but oh well... The only visual mods I've done to it is the topper, stainless steel fuel door cover, in-channel window vents and Plasti-dipped the wheels. The bug deflector was on it when I bought it. I'm debating on plasti-dipping all the chrome parts this year, but I haven't decided yet...

 

Some came with the door lights some didnt my Loaded 2000 XLT had them but my Loaded I mean loaded Lariat FX4 didnt.

I'm more curious specifically about the 2003 Heritage Edition. I would assume either they all did have them or else they all didn't. It's not that big of a deal to me either way, but just curious.

 

I would assume it still came down to other options chosen, not just that one trim package.

 

I just happened on this truck last week and bought it from the original owner. Very Clean. It has 150K miles and runs very good. Tight and clean. I didn't know that it was a special truck, except in my sight. Now I know and I am extremely please.





A Real Beauty

 

Here's mine in lost creek, wv I got mine in 2011 with 124xxx miles on it Black and Tan out of Richmond Va. Now with 164678m and going strong. It's not mint but it's still in great shape. And not so much stock anymore. K&n cold air intake, chrome covers and bug shield
, 6" rxc lift 17" rdr wheels sitting on 35's bfg, dual exhaust and stainless bullbar. Unfortunately I had a run in with a deer over the winter, all is fixed but I can't find the tan valance panel anywhere and I don't know if any company makes these colors anymore for them. Any ideas? I just bought mine 2/15, burgundy/black 59k miles. Near mint condition. The only thing mine didn't have supplied with was all the manuals were missing so I'm In need of manuals! Yours (before) looks exactly like mine!!! I'm sorry someone did that to your truck):

 

Just out of curiosity, what kind of gas mileage is everyone getting? I have the 5.4L 4x4 and get 8-10mpg in the winter and 11-12 in the summer. I usually only make short trips to and from work 15 miles each way.

I'll be driving it from Minneapolis out to the Black Hills, SD in July, so I'm hoping on a long haul it'll get around 15mpg.

 

Sorry guys I forgot to list the rest of the info. I'm in independence mo and my truck has 114000 miles.
