Thumbs up water pump life?

I have a 150k mile 97 4.6 f150. Everything is running great. Im about to go cross country with it and wondering if it would be wise to replace water pump. No issues with cooling or leaking just a preventative measure. Can anyone comment if the water pumps in this motor typically last a long time? Ive been diligent about replacing radiator fluid etc, so its been taken care of the best I can.

If you are still worried take the belt off and check for any sign of leaks. Turn the bearing by hand and check if spins freely and doesn't grab. Check for excessive play as well. If everything checks out your are good to go.
