new ford f150 FX2

o.k. so has anyone seen the new f-150FX2 ford has. (i'm sure i'm a day late and a dollar short on this) but it's just some gay excuse for a lightning if you ask me. i mean it's cool cuz it's a ford and all but it just dosen't fill the shoes of the lightning(wether it's supposed to or not).it only has some kind of handiling package and mono-chrome paint and fancy lights.

its not meant to compete with the lightning

it is meant for people who want the creature comforts of a lariat, but dont want or need 4x4 (Fx4), they want a sporty, loaded 2 wheel drive truck with more options available then a stx or xlt

what makes this truck gay is the fact that ford knows that people are more interested in having the lightning come back than this thing. if they can put the effort into this, then they could have put out the lightning if they really wanted. instead they put this thing out almost like a tease. kinda like here ya go but not quite. but i guess nothing lasts forever.

Some people have been making their trucks look like the current fx2 for a while, Ford noticed and made the fx2. How hard is that to understand?

I think its a good lookin truck! Prolly coulda done something better than FX2 for the name, it just sounds odd to me. Then again I have an FX4, maybe thats why it sounds weird. .

i dont think half of the people who are looking for FX2's would be able to afford a new lightning.

i personally like the fx2s especially in that dark red, the headlights n the grill really set it off.

Hasn't anyone read that the FX2 can also be had with supercharger and will make 450hp. and 500lb. ft.? I'm pretty sure that I read that in something that Ford sent me recently. I think I already threw it away though.

The new Fx4 package is a fantastic idea that is meant to simply move more units by appealing to the growing "street truck" surge that is occurring. Not everyone is looking for a "street truck" to race, as some just like the style. (Ie the popularity of "street" trucks and SUVs with big wheels and no engine mods)

Ford never has, in any way claimed the Fx2 to be any sort of replacement for the Lightning.

...and NEXT time you may want to consider ASKING THE QUESTION first, waiting for a reply, and THEN depending on the answer going into your rant about why Ford is dumb. Then you can save yourself the time you wasted typing, the frustration you built up, and of course the embarrassment for ranting about something you apparently had no idea what you were talking about.
