1999 Bed 2wd swap with a 2003 4 x4

2006 is NBS (new body style) 1999 is a different style. I don't think it would work without either modifying the bed or the frame. But that is a guess.
I think for an 06 you need nothing older than an 04 (non heritage).
Someone in the know should chime in and either confirm my thought or wave the BS flag.
Good luck

Thank you for the fast response. I made an error, My trick is a 2003 not 2006 as I had posted. Do you think with this body style it will work? And by the way I love your Quote! Again I thank you......

I think the 97 to 03 plus Heritage in 04 is all the same. As long as it is the same length bed I think you are good to go. But PLEASE get a second opinion before you buy a wrong bed, I am making an assumption on this.
A body shop or a reputable Junk yard may be able to tell you if it will work, perhaps even a call to the dealer. I just don't want to be responsible for having you fork out money for something that won't work.
Good luck
