2002 Bumper pad "rivets"

I searched for a thread to answer this for awhile and finally decided to punt. (type new thread)

I'm replacing the entire front bumper ***'y on a 2002 2WD I just bought.

Found a bumper set, but I need to clean up and paint the upper pad, or valance.

Question re: the 12 white plastic things that hold the pad to the bumper.

These appear as if they might be some special "pop" rivets. Are these reusable? If so, can anyone give me a hint as to proper removal / reinsertion technique?

I don't have any extras for experimentation.

Do they sell these at various parts stores?

If they are not reusable or available new, what have others substituted, other than bolts & nuts?

Thanks for the help in advance!

It's a pin and finger design for lack of better description

Pull center pin out about 1/4" and the whole clip comes out

They're really expensive clips from Ford so try not to break them.

Thanks Patman. I found a couple in a junkyard and was afforded the opportunity to experiment.

Had a good chuckle at my expense after realizing how simple they are.

I had assumed that they were a one-use Pop rivet after seeing the hole in the top.

Accelerator problems

First of all, thanks to everyone who took the time to help out. I don't have access to electronic testing equipment so I ended up taking to a mechanic who I trust. It turned out to be the mass air flow sensor. Runs fine for a truck with 196k on the odometer.
