Ok, so I want to PTM my door/tailgate handles and mirror caps on my truck. Is there a how to thread for this? Any tips on removing the handles? Difficulty level? What about obtaining paint?

When I did mine I purchased new smooth Harley Davidson handles and had Ford paint them along with painting my mirror caps.

I bought all new parts from Tasca so I could do the PTM part at my leisure and then install them all at once. I ordered all my paint stuff from http://www.automotivetouchup.com. I bought everything I need for about $119 shipped. Including tape, parts cleaner, sand paper, respirator, primer, plastic adhesion promoter, base color paint, clear coat, and even tape. I am sure you could get just the base coat from them and get everything else local to save a few bucks but I wanted to get it all at once and be done. Good luck on your PTM project.
