Just did mine, it was scratched up bad and had silver markings over the whole thing.

The regular antenna, the worst part was having to have it dry so I used a big vise grip to hold the threaded base and put it on the counter top overnight.

I always liked that antenna too. I never bothered getting one because I figured some clown would rip it off the truck

tru fordguy...i havent had that happen to me thank god. the only thing that was stolen off my truck was the set of balls i had hanging from the hitch. but the 2nd pair i locked up...lol
